Tee hee! I had a lorikeet once who used to do exactly this. One day it was like a switch flicked on in his brain and he started flying like a little green missile and there was no stopping him. Enjoy these days of innocence while you can!

Oh, he already flies like a little missile, so well, that he does fly bts as close as he possible can get to my head while grabbing a foot full of hair then laughing at me! Thankfully it's just a game and it doesn't hurt me or him.

Inuse ceiling hooks, and fishing line to hang hoops, swings, rope bridges, spiral hoops at various heights over the cage. They love testing their skills.
I think I can attach a picture from an article thdt inspired me.

Be creative. They really enjoy playing, testing skills. I hide Easter eggs ,like chew toys, or treats at different places...

This sorta gives you an idea. I have theses sll together over the cages , and a cargo net seagrass thing, hanging bird swings

I need to add more photos to it to be honest.

I had a few names picked out but none felt right so I put a message on my work face book asking for suggestions on birdie names. A lot were suggesting Albert and I was like it feels a bit old man kind of name so my colleague suggested Albie fir short and it suits him, and when I called him by it I was getting head tilts and little chirps

Flying up and/or down stairways is a learnt skill as they require very different abilities based on which direction they are headed. Going up is like constantly lifting off and going down is like constantly prepping for a landing. As stated, they learn fast and once in place, the stairway becomes a busy place.
