A warm fuzzy story :)

Two nights ago I started getting sick. I had the feeling where the back of my nasal cavity felt dry, and it hurt really bad when I tried to swallow, and if I tried to swallow comfortably, it felt like I was swallowing a lot of mucus. You guys know that feeling? I hate it so much .

The day after, I went to school and my nose was running the whole day. I went home early because I felt so sick and my throat/nose still felt dry and hurt really bad. When I got home I fell asleep, then woke up and threw up twice before going to the doctor at 8. He prescribed me Motrin and Tylenol and I threw up again on my way out (in the bathroom of course lol).

Before I went to the doctor, I was sitting in front of my little heater trying to warm up because I had a fever and felt freezing cold. I was sitting bext to Cricket's cage and I had his door open so he could play on top of his cage. I had my head on my knees and then I heard a little "chirrup" right next to me. I turned around and saw him hanging off the side of his cage and looking at me, so I put my hand next to him and he climbed on my shoulder . Then he tried his best to wedge his head under my neck (even though it was a tight fit), and cuddled with me until I had to leave.

I think somehow he knew I was sick and came over to keep me company . I love my baby!!

Yep they know you are sick for sure. I was feeling really sick a while ago and my girlfriend snapped this photo of me sleeping on the couch hehe. Not the best photo of me, but Loco certianly looks cute!

could you get your lil birdie sick if its around you and sick? and i have a tiel and i was really sad and crying by its cage and it hated me because i was younger and renforced bad behaviors because we were just given the bird because my parents best friend had him and i would go over and i loved the bird and he gave it to me because he had brain cancer and later that year he died ='( but anyways i was crying and he came over next to me but if i would try to touch him he would walk to the otherside lol but he still cared even though we werent close =)

thats adorable! he sounds so cute, i love how in tune animals are with us!
