Chewy ~ 3 year old green cheek conure
Toki ~ 2 year old Budgie
I have heard of using branches and things as a perch for birds but i am wondering are there any lists of good and bad types of branches to use?
Are there any types that are hazzardous or toxic?
Should bark be removed?
Do they have to be cleaned or anything before using and what is the best way? I can imagine some kind of treatment would need to be done to rid them of possible parasites or traces of any kind of bacteria or other diease things wild birds might be carrying.
I would get some natural perches for my birds just dont really know where to start.
