PVC stand!

Hanging atom!

Starting the hide a hut thingy! (Ty conurecrazy)

I'm making a few more huts if this one turns out well for my friend kitty. Aka thekatsmeow.

Halfway done hidey hut with anchor hooks for hanging.

It's FLEX PVC. You'll find it in the plumbers section of hardware stores. They come in 1/2" and 3/4" diameters.

a trick i use is to get the pvp pipe to bend anyway i want is to heat up sand in the oven to about 300 degrees F. cap one end of the pipe and very carefully fill the pipe with the hot sand then cap the end you just filled. within 5 min the pipe will be soft and you can bend it anyway you wish. you have to act fast because the pliability does goes away pretty quick. you got about 3-4 min of time before it starts to get hard again.

when you get the shape you want and the pipe is stiff again, pour the sand out.

Hi there, love your atom and stand you made. I will have to figure out how to post my stands I made. You posted that you use flex pvc. very cool. will have to check that out. I've found a way to make the pvc rough for the birds to stand on and not slip off!! have to remember the name of the wood tool I use with my drill. What is the coloured part on the atom and play stand? Is it duck tape? If so, do your birds try and chew if off. I wonder about the glue in it... thanks

No, it's not duct tape, it's vet wrap.
