this is a double branch swing I made for my conure... I'm going to have it above her cage... I used fleece fabric to string the beads and such... cut it into 2 inch wide strips.

I breed sugar gliders and make toys for them... so it's not too much diffrent making toys for them. Gliders can't have string rope or metal chain in their toys... but now with my new nanday, I have something else to make toys for!

Here are dranger's images ...

My soon-to-be brother-in-law has sugar gliders ... they are amazing animals ... if you don't mind the whole nocturnal "thing"

I am not sure about felt though for birds, it's an unconventional material for bird toys due to the whole "chew-chew-chew possibly ingest" situation. I would suggest that maybe you change your materials to wood or leather something less likely to get accidentally ingested.

Cute gliders and what a great toy for your conure.

Sisal, leather, cotton, are great for stringing toys.

I love making toys cuz it's tons cheaper, I get to birdy customize it and I get to play with hubbys tools :)
