Im looking for bulk manzanita branches, or any bird friendly branches for that matter for good pricing. I live in the rocky mountains and have plenty of un treated pine on my property but its seems to be a bit soft for my big birds. So I'm just gathering a list of suppliers from who ever doesn't mind sharing just seeing what sources I have over looked. Actually I'd like to hear where everyone get all of there bird toy, stand, gym making supplies. Cheers!

I buy a lot of my bird supplies from mysafebirdstore.com A nice site I've used to buy perches online is Little Perch Co.

Omg. I am going to get soooo many manzanita things! It'll be like a forest in Darcy's cage!

I sell dragonwood. ( Lyonia ferruginea) Mostly for perches/ stands , a couple people have had me cut it into toys piece, but it's time consuming. If you can cut it yourself i could send you short pieces. You should PM me.

I don't know about manzanita but I use mesquite out of the pasture. Just knock the thorns off it.
I don't know if it grows in Colorado. I hope for your farmers ad ranchers that it doesn't.

You people out in the Western US are so lucky to have that as a natural resource, it's so beautiful and it's like it is meant to make bird-stands/perches out of...

I make all of my own perches, stands, gyms, etc., and being in central Pennsylvania I usually go out in the woods and look for similarly shaped/branching Maple, Oak, Pear, Cherry, etc....and when I can manage to sneak onto/around the many vineyard properties here, I collect some awesome grapevines (there are between 15-20 vineyards within 30 minutes of me) Lots of Driftwood here too near lakes/streams/rivers...but I'd love to have access to natural Manzanita like that, I'd be out collecting it all day, every day...
