DIY Beach Toys!

I got a beach toy set for really cheap at the store so I made toys out of it for the fids!

I call this "Knotty Crab" I made it for Mango

I call this one "Noisy Beach" for Munch, she loves toys she can bang around and make a racket

I call this one "Bucket of Treasure". Basically a foraging/foot toy holder for the cockatiels. They like throwing around small toys, so this is perfect for them!

These look great. Think they would work for a mac. Of course they would be chewed.

i do this to!, but i take the crab like guys and drill a bunch of holes and then i string puzzle peices and tongue depressors and foam squares on them to make toys for my mini macaw and smaller guys

yeah i drilled holes in the crab and the fish shapes lol but just a small toy for mango, he likes the little toys

they were adorable and cheap and bird safe, so i picked up the pack. can't beat a deal like that, all those toys for $1.99 lol

we grab a lot of seasonal toys and such and turn them into bird toys. like halloween, we picked up these "eyeball" balls, which were just ping pong balls that had the eyeball design. then easter we bought the plastic eggs and made toys out of them too lol

they make fun cheap toys and my flock love them.

fill an empty easter plastic egg with pony beads and it becomes a noisy rattling toy for them to beat up lol

i was surprised they were such a quick hit! my birds are often scared of bright colours at first, but they really like them!

I was searching how to make toys when I found this group. I am so happy I did! :jumping40 Still waiting on my new baby sun conure and the waiting is driving me crazy.....lol. But while waiting I am gathering supplies to start making her collection of toys, of course I wont know the sex but I am just going to think its a her. Still trying to pick out the name, but right now Rosie is leading the list, then loyla and sunni.

But this is great info on how to make a variety of toys to keep them happy. Thanks for sharing
