here is a "before" photo

the tiels are absolutely loving it!!! wood used is curly willow, weeping willow, sycamore, and paper birch! cotton twine and stainless steel screws holding it all together. it may be crude compared to some of the very lovely trees i see some people make, but my tiels love it, and i am focusing on making their cage top a fun place for them. plus, they got their DIY old orbit swing hanging up by our couch too.

Do they destroy toys quickly? As soon as i add a new toy to Fargo's gym, its gone within an hour

bolded in the quote: that's pretty much what my husband said lol

as to toys, it depends. not as quickly as a day, but tsuka can chew through some of his wood block toys within a week lol they're pretty gentle on their toys in comparison to our munch for example, who destroys things fast.

They have a fortress going up there!!! Very nice!!! Cockatiels don't go through their toys that badly, on occasion though, if they want to they could chew through something pretty quickly.

You know my first baby lovebird that I raised looks just like Munchlax, I named him Cookie, he was my attack bird. He flies to me on command and I tell him to attack and he does it. It used to make my best friend furious with him....lol....
