This morning i cut the biggest dragon wood i've ever found. It was all i could do to drag it into the back of the truck. There's a couple more almost as big but only one at a time will fit in the truck. I kept waiting to get pulled going down the interstate with this huge tree hanging out of the truck,LOL. But i made it, no ticket. I guess i need to find a way to get it up on the shed roof to dry, won't fit in the rafters.

It would almost cost effective for me to drive across country to go dragon wood picking with you! LOL I could bring you a full load of manzanita.

HP...have you thought about contacting Pepsi to see if they might be interested in your promo pics ? ? ?

As to your drying dilemma, from an engineering & health standpoint, it might be prudent to cut it into more manageable...and...lighter sections, unless of course we are planning to erect your new object of interest as-is in the new atrium foyer you are planning for your flock.....but then, that's just from an engineering perspective ! ! !

Wow! I'm a little Jealous of that incredible piece. tons of manzanita around here(which is SO hard to cut) and it's too slippery in my opinion. Then I have this wee little 8" dragon wood perch that I just LOVE.

It's like the story, it's always greener on the other side haha we want what we don't have XD

My problem is that if i cut it,,,someones wants something i just cut wrong. I already had to make a lot of decisions when cutting off the branches, LOL. Guess i need a good engineer.

I put a drink can in the pictures to give things some perspective. Sometimes hard to describe pieces and a drink can is a good "scale".

Alright HP. I really need your wood! How much for some? I want to make Quinn her own playground.

Blue has a dragonwood playstand. LOVE it. The branches are just textured enough that she can grip on them well

AWESOME tree you lugged there, Capt! I can imagine your "fanny" being quite sweaty afterwards, HAHAHAHAH.

All your branches are holding up FANTASTIC for me, but I'll hit you up very soon for some more, especially since my big macs REALLY love going to town on them. :)
