With the holidays coming up, we have decided that taking Beaker with us is probably the best plan for all of us (who could possible leave someone who says bye bye! behind)

We are left with a problem: what to do with Beaker at night.

My idea so far is to have a perch in the middle with amenities on either side and two curved poles on either side joined at the top with a cover that slides down.

Before I commence any construction, I'd like to see any thoughts on this.

Now after a nice vague post to start things off with here's an update:

I'm about half finished, with only the inner structure complete. I still have to prepare the surfaces and add some perch material (vet wrap? that didn't go well last time...).

The the two level structure is to double as a small play gym with one massive beak distractor and something interesting to swing on. These, along with the food and water bowls will be attached to the two tabs on either side of the top perch. The three cross pieces on the bottom are to hold corrugated plastic sheets for debris collection. I will be adding four legs to bring the top perch height up as well as keep the sheeting off the ground.

On the top will be two arches to hold up another toy as well as an all encompasing gym cover.
