Is duplo in particular safe to make foraging toys with for a cockatoo (LB Corella)? I haven't brought her home yet, so I'm not sure what is suitable for that beak that I have around the house

That sounds like a brilliant idea! The only thing I'd worry about is whether the LB's bill could reach into the back (socket) side of the duplo blocks and chip out bits that might be sharp enough to cut or small enough to swallow. What's your judgement on that? I think I'd use duplo for my Galah, but probably not for my Alexes (whose bills are scary-strong).
