As far as I know, white paper is fine for birds to shred. White paper coloured with water based food colouring is?
Is coloured paper safe? Pre coloured like you'd use for origami or give to kids to craft with.

Help?

I would think that it's safe, but I'm not familiar with UK & EU paper regulations, but knowing their safety regulations tend to be stricter on a lot of things than here in the U.S., I might be inclined to take a chance.....
