I went through almost all the threads on here and found some wonderful ideas, thanks! I copied Oogies mom's swing chains and Amazoncrzy's material and hoop idea and here is my result. Some photos are before I added all the hanging toys.

Ag it was not even 2 minutes and then she wanted me again. Well, 2 minutes is better than nothing, we will work on it.:D

Sterretjie loves pulling string and she is always trying to untie knots so I tied offcuts around the bottom hoop for her to practice on. I am sure I'll make lots of changes when I observe what she does with it. But for now this is my first attempt and I have to say it was fun and so easy and she even climbed down the rope to the floor!

Wow! You guys are all so good at this. My poor guys just get bits of wood strung on the chains from old toys.

It was so easy and cheap! We bought irrigation tubing and a dowel (I just call it it a round stick), cut it to 3 different sizes and fitted it together with a short piece of dowel. The chains were also from the hardware store and it is actually plastic. A McDonals meal costs more!

My mother in-law from Cape Town (82 years old) sends me old material almost every 3 month. (I really do not know what to do with it so it all ends up in boxes in the storeroom.:08:) I used the nice colourd material and just wrapped it around the pipes and wallah - pretty perches.

Craig did the chain part because I couldnt get the hooks screwed into the tubing.:p And even if I did get it right I am sure it would have been much more lopsided than what it currently is. :D
