I need bird safe paint!

I really want to have Jack play with some paint and make some abstract creations. What paint, if any, is safe enough for little bird feet?

My guess would be food dye. They come in gel form, too, so it' not quite so 'runny'.

But I'm willing to bet you'll have tons of fun getting that food coloring out of your baby's plumage/feet/beak. :54:

Great idea, I'll try that first. And I can't wait to find little splotches of color everywhere, that'll be fun to clean!

I would say maybe make a cornstarch and water mixture and add some food coloring instead of straight food coloring?

I also googled and found this, not all would work (wouldn't use anything with chalk) but it might give you some ideas!
