I have some untreated pine I was going to use for another project, but ended up not. It has some lines on it made with "non-toxic"(according to the packaging) permanent markers. Just wondering if this is safe to cut up for use in toys for Kiwi or if I'll have to try to sand the marker off? Anyone know?

I'd give a light sanding I think. Has it sunk down into the wood grain?

No, it's just on the surface. Just a couple thin lines I was going to cut along but didn't.
