I added this photo just because it's cute!

This toy is a wonderful beak conditioner and a great way to keep a Too busy and happy. I ordered this one from DrsFosterSmith, it's appropriately called a beakasaurus. It looked this when it arrived.

This is how it looks after a few sessions with Poppy. Another great thing about this toy is you can keep the hardware and replace the blocks, either by making your own or ordering just the toy parts.

Nice toy Allee! Cute pic too... You know how I love the 'umbrella up' :). She's not doing the full umbrella ;). The toy looks huge, and great for wood chewers! I'm so glad Poppy loves it.

Maybe my little Griffin needs one.. with his crazy shark-like tendencies these days with his hormones, a toy for his size is in shreds in 1/2 hour!

Kelly, I think Gracie would love this one. Gracie and Poppy can see who can make tooth picks out of it the quickest. Poppy hated the bell encased in acrylic, she tried to kill it once and hasn't touched it since. If you can't destroy it, what good is it?

Here you go, Julie. Full umbrella, I admire her from a safe distance when she does this.

Thank you, Don! Kalani's photo in your beautiful signature is incredible too.

Auntie Terry, I'm sure she'd love a visit with you and your flock.

Aw, the "umbrella" :) haha look how big it is. No doubt is why they're called Umbrella! But I'm afraid I'm going to have to request another pic.... my favorite is when it's from the front view, and you can see both of the little round beady eyes. That really makes me smile :D!

How sweet, Amanda! Thank you and no, not weird at all! I love to put my face in those soft feathers around her face. Poppy loves hugs! :)

I've heard Amazons have a lot of sniffing admirers too.

I'll definitely be placing that order. I'm not sure Gracie is quite in Poppy league but she'll give it the ole grey try. I love Poppys pics! She is so beautiful.

I finally stopped being a chicken and was handling the 'too youngins today while I was visiting baby Rookie Emerlie Meadow Bidi Fifi Pippy Birdadette (7 names isn't too many right?) . I also finally womaned up and handled the 50 yr old umbrella :) . The employees tease me cuz I'll pick up a cranky grey, beaky amazons and hyper 'caws but I'm always leary (scaredy cat) of the 'toos lol. Oddly enuff the only bird in there that's ever bit me and meant it was a lil conure!

I'll love Poppy from a far :)

Glad to know I'm not the only weirdo I sniff Gracie's neck all the time lol she always clucks and looks at me like I'm nuts.

Rookie Emerlie Meadow Bidi Fifi Pippy Birdadette! I LOVE IT! I'm putting all seven names in your sig! Unique, cute, the name covers all the bases!

What kind of toys does Gracie like?

That's so funny, I've never hesitated to hold a Too, a Macaw or a Grey and I've never been bit by any of them. I'm a little nervous holding Zons, I'm not sure why, I've known several and they've never so much as nipped. Maybe it's those incredible pinning eyes.

Julie, is this it? Lowered wings and fanned tail, she's lost that loving feeling!

Oh yes amazons do definitely have a lot of sniffing admirers. I love to sniff Millie. Mind, I sniff Bundii as well. I have issues. Lol.

It is funny as Millie only seems to have her Amazon scent around me. Hubby is yet to smell it. She just won't do it around him.

Love the pics of Poppy especially the very first one which I think is beyond cute...the others are lovely too but the first is my favourite...funny thing is; in a different and slightly smaller scale of toy of course but its those chain type toys with the blocks on them that Mr Biggkes loves too...he doesnt mangle them from Beskasaurus into Destructasaurus as much or as fast as Poppy though for it takes him a quiete a while to get the little blocks off the chain even though his is a much smaller toy and not as sophisticated at all as Poppy's wonderful Beakasaurus. What a Great toy :) I wonder if they make it in a smaller size and if it can be got here...even that size I think he would have fun with but its a bit big for him

LOL Pretty sure I'd give her instant multiple personality disorder.
I'll hafta figure it out sooner or later.
Meadow & Emerlie fit since she has a rather calm, peaceful, personality (for now). She plays with her toys and eats very daintily so I can see that as a FiFi or Birdadette. She's feisty and stands her ground with the larger parrots so Bidi fits. She chitters and chatters away at you non stop so I can see Pippy but I'm not sure if she's as bubbly as a Pippy should be LOL. Then there is Rookie... which I see as more tomboy, mischievous, push the limits, stubborn and do everything you're own way
Maybe I'll just let Gracie decide lol

Gracie loves anything she can chew up, likes to hang on stuff anything she can hang upside down on because an instant favorite, she recently started loving the plastic chains - doesn't even have to have anything on them lol loves bells and she's very curious about her shiny spoons but tends to lick them more than play lol anything bangable and shredable is always a favorite. She's getting pretty well rounded & accepting in the toy department (of course everything is going to eat her at first) the only thing she doesn't like are puzzles

See I think that's why I have a harder time with 'toos I'm more comfortable reading the pinning eyes lol
I could stare at Gracie's eyes for hours when I'm talking to her the rate at which her eyes pin when she's in conversation fascinates me.

Those pics are amazing! I love em :)

These days I avoid beads... I notice Willow will just go down the rope and "crack" them like a nut in half, drop them, and move to the next. Of course she will finish up by cleaning every piece of wood and rope off as well. I have lots of hardware kicking around, I really need to find some natural dyes and start making my own.

And Poppy..... Get some! lol

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
Sweepea actually has several of those kinds of toys, and plays with them constantly. They are her favorite things.
