So the pinata is finally in business!

It's taken me 2 failed attempts and scrapping a few fiddly ideas but here it is!

Enjoy xx

I tried plain cardboard, non treated paper.....it just went soggy soggy and didn't survive the balloon pop!

You can use tissue paper in strips and "glue" it on with egg whites, but it was so fiddly and I didn't 100% trust the tissue paper.....

It's a result of many an experimentation and I didn't dye the tshirt because the supermarket had no green colouring for my "strawberry"!!! Haha!

I used all my excess colour to make a multicoloured layered sponge cake which was tasty if not a bit odd with all the blue, pink and BLACK! lol

What type of tissue paper are you talking about, remember you guys mean something that might be completely different from what we in SA use.;)

The paper towel is the ones that you buy for the kitchen, yes? I must use that one?

hehe, I used Kitchen towel yes because I know it's just paper. I could check that.

Tissue paper is the stuff you can buy to decorate presents? Or wrap wine in?

I didn't trust that as I had no way of knowing if there were any chemicals in it.

:D

If you cut just below where you tied the knot with scissors, there's no pop!

I can't WAIT to see pictures of a much more artistic one that mine!!!

Thanks for the advice and please no, artistic is the LAST thing that I am!:D
Even my face had a green stripe, my kitchen floor and counter (although I used a towel and tray) are a disaster!

I must say thou, Sterretjie enjoyed picking the dried flour off my arms and hands. She did it so gently I was shocked!:D
