What size openings in cargo net?

After reading some of Birdman666's posts on making stands, I decided to order a manila (sisal) cargo net from the place he recommended. They make them to order. Problem is, I can't tell from the pictures how big the openings are. This will be for Gus, who is very small for a B&G ... what would be the best size for safe climbing? Six, eight inches?

Maybe I'll order a bigger one for the outfit who rescued Gus, we like to help them out.

The choice is more the distance that Gus is comfortable navigating across. His comfort in climbing his cage from the floor to the top and also around the cage across is a good indicator in what distance is best for him.

Commonly, with any of the mid to largest MAC's the 8" is a foregone conclusion. With Gus, I'm leaning toward the 6" as it will provide him with a tighter more stable net, well as stable and tight as a net can be that is!!

That's what I was thinking. He needs lots of things to hold on to. Since October there has been significant improvement in his mobility. He used to hesitate to climb at all. Now he races up the bars, visits all the perches, and he's only fallen once since the start of the year. I speculate that he had weak muscles and stiff joints from his prior incarceration and that moving around is helping him.
