I have an idea! (chain links)

So I was browsing pintrest looking for kid crafts since imma be a nanny soon and there was lots of images of people making Popsicle sticks into bracelets by curving them, it's pretty easy, you just boil them and then put them in a cup or something round so they dont straighten until they're hard again. We could make chain links out of them! It's cheap, destroy-able, isn't sharp so it's safer than the metal links. I'm sure this could be done with toothpicks and such too if you desire smaller links.

Now that is thinking outside of the 'link!' Not sure about the toothpicks, you would have to try that one. But the Popsicle sticks is a great idea. In addition, if a Parrot did get caught in it, the Parrot could easily chew the wood to release itself!

I use popsicle sticks as foot toys for my zons and my CAG. I just toss them on top of the playtop tray and let the birds pick them up. One crunch and they're done.

I actually bought them for the conures. It's just that it was a really big box.

Brilliant! I never heard of such a thing, but now it sounds so obvious.

I'm gonna see if I can try it out tomorrow, I'll let you guys know how it goes.
I'll test out toothpicks too just to see even though they're too small for Lincoln.
