Hi All,
So I was going through the bird caretaking time this morning and I had 1 Sun on my right shoulder and 1 Sun on my left shoulder. I don't know about other Suns, but mine are determined to rip the collars of my t-shirts, especially Winston. While he was performing said act this morning, I kept telling him "quit!, quit! quit!, but to no avail. My husband always has used quit instead of no and as you can't teach old dogs new tricks I just say quit now as well.
So Winston (my male Sun) kept pinching my neck skin (on accident) along with my collar. I was on about my 100th quit and just had a quirky moment and zerberted his head. He looked so surprised, and he had some feathers standing up on the top of his head like Dennis the Mennis.
So I cracked up and laughed and made the zerbert sound again so he wouldn't be afraid of it. Now he is jumping around saying, "ha ha ha, "zerbert" noise". It is so funny.
Have a great one!
