Hi all! Anybody got any ideas for creating reusable birdcage liners?

if it's in an area the bird can't really get to it you could try a washable shower curtain. it's not very absorbent so you'd have to clean it like daily / every other day or something but worth a shot maybe

Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
You will need a solid avian disinfectant that can be used around birds without harming their sensitive respiratory systems though

I would think you just need to put it in the wash with hot (unscented) soapy water.

I’ve experimented with using fabric cage liners; I might go back to it honestly.

But that would mean washing all of the time....unless I am the only one who changes lines daily..

you could get a handful of them and just wash them all a couple times a week or something with your other clothes.

When I was doing this I just had a bunch. I already do laundry every 1-2 days so it was no big deal.

Silversage what kind of fabric did you use to line the cage?

I used those cheap little couch blankets that we already had lol. Fleece maybe? The birds couldn’t get to them.
