We have a baby that is 2 weeks old, who is still in the nesting box being fed both by the mother and father. For the last 4 days, he has been laying on his back with a full tummy. He is growing fast and responds to sounds and moves his feet and wings a lot. I'm not sure if he is being overfed or if there is something wrong. The parents are both in there feeding him all the time. These are first time parents. I'm unsure if we need to take him out and start syringe feeding. I was going to wait a month before I started hand feeding. Need some advice. Thanks

Please leave baby with parents as he/she is being well cared for. It is very normal to find a well fed chick laying on its tummy or back or even their side. Just make sure you have plenty of nesting material in the box.

I take my eclectus babies from the nest when approx 4 to 5 weeks old.
