Hey everybody. I was just wondering what kind of pellets everybody feeds their eclectus? We use roudybush all natural organic pellets, but just seeing what others use. She rarely eats pellets, but they are there just in case she wants them.
Also my ekky isn't fond of sprouts, so I was wondering if anybody else doesn't feed sprouts to their birds. When we first got her I used to sprout for her, but she never ate them and it was getting a little ridiculous for me to do it and her not eat it.
I must say she just went to the vet and the vet drew blood and said she is very healthy, so I am not worried. Just more curious.

We feed Winston a small amount of Roudy Bush daily, mixed with fresh vegetable and fruit. He loves this.... He loves unsalted pretzels....

I don't feed Mac pellets. I give him along with my Senegal a couple of spoons of a good quality seed mix that has no sunflower seeds in it. This is only a treat for them. Their main diet consists of fruits, veggies, pasta, rice, whole wheat or whole grain items as well.

Thanks everyone. I'm really thinking about getting rid of the pellets, since she hardly ever touches them. She has fresh veggies and legumes and brown rice and fruits and all sorts of organic stuff everyday, so I am sure it wouldn't hurt her to lose the pellets.
On an unrelated note, you can take a peek at my foster bird, Rocky. He is a gorgeous B&G Macaw.
