hello all,
Just a query, we have 2 ekkys, both being 2 years old. We have had Jack since he was 14 weeks old , the other only the last 3 months or so. Wondering if anybody elses ekky attacks toes if he is on the floor ? My ekky we have had since a baby , is the one that does it. If he is close enough to anybodys toes he runs like a bull at a gate and gives an almighty bite. Just wondering why and no he has never been stood on or anything like that. So we have no idea why. Our newer parrot Marlie, has been known to go for toes but so far not really bite or anything like Jack. We arent really concerned so much if Marlie is near our feet but if jack is , people have to be warned that he is coming or Jack has to be picked up.
Today he has given me an almighty bite that is bleeding to the top of my foot and I havent a clue why he is sooo quick and fast and adamant in doing this.Everybody here is very aware of him if he is on the floor and removes him.
Does anybody have this occur, its not so much a problem as we can always just move him before he is too close, just wondered if this is normal behaviour ?
Thanks,
Robyn
