I sat down with my partner and daughter tonight to watch a movie and just as I got comfortable Audrey flew down to me and snuggled with me for the whole time <3 It was so cute, and when I tried to put her into her cage for bed time she was climbing up my arm and her face looked like she was thinking "No way, I want more cuddles!" Lol awww

Sadie although KC is having cute cuddles with her baby, that isn't always the case. Not all eclectus are the cuddly type & as they get older & mature most of them prefer to just hang out & be close by but don't like to be cuddled or patted for that matter.

IMO when you can have a cute moment lap it up cause from my experience it doesn't really last. Don't get me wrong it's just that they mature & grow up just like our children.

You never know though. My Grey is the biggest cuddle bunny in the world, and I wasn't expecting that as Greys aren't known for it. But, when she is out, she won't do anything but cuddle up against my shirt and insist I pet her. Today she climbed off my hand and actually laid down and went to sleep. I have to be really careful if I move her away from my chest because she will dive back toward my shirt and I almost dropped her one day. I ended up having to grab her with both hands and here I was holding her, face pointed toward the ground. Thankfully she didn't care, lol! Usually she sits with her feet on my hand, which is resting on my belly with her head buried in my shirt. If I stop petting her she clucks and climbs up more toward my face and bows her head again telling me to keep petting. I think I need some kind of carrier to put her in that can go around my neck so she can be cuddled against me, but allow me to get some things done. With her vision loss I don't think she feels secure away from my body.

Awwwwww roxy thats cute hahahaha! :) I agree she probably feels very safe around you. I also think maybe if they get used to being cuddled all the time it just comes as a habit as they grow up. Though saying that Audrey doesn't always come down for a cuddle lol that's why I posted this xD But she is definitely becoming a real part of the family now always wanting to be involved in what I do and getting very curious when I eat or if I'm on my laptop or writing in a book :)
