So the Vet has gotten back the results from the crop cultures. She has multiple ailments. 2 different bacterial infections and one fungal infection of the crop.That is the reason for the odd smelling breath she has had since we got her. She really didnt receive the best of care before she moved in with us. I am So thankful you all advised me to have the Vet visit her. The Vet returns tomorrow to start treatments and clip her wings. In the meantime I started keeping a diary of her daily meals and her weight, so the Vet can review if necessary. Ruby weighs in at 420 grams, which seems like a healthy weight to me. I have also started putting Aloe Vera juice in her water and she seems to like it, as she is drinking more than usual.
