Is 1.5" bar spacing too large for an Eclectus?

1.5" should be just fine. It's large, but so are eccies. For a SI Eccie it is for sure fine.

that seems really big to me, isn't 1" the limit for a SI eclectus?

i just measured the space between the bars of my Alex's cage and its 1". An eclectus is bigger then an ekkie, so i would think it is ok.

Thank you all so much for the responses. I think I will go with a 1" bar spacing just to be safe.
Going to drag the hubby with me on Friday to hopefully get one that I have my eye on -- it is 4' wide, 3' deep and 4' tall with 1" bar spacing. Now to figure out how I am going to fit something 4'x4' in my car @.@
