do baby eckies go through a nippy stage? Shamrock is getting very nippy or is he just testing every thing with his beak?

I'm pretty sure I've seen threads in the past of people having trouble because their eclectus were going through a nippy phase, but biting objects and everything with his beak sounds more like exploring the world and all it's textures haha

My baby Grey, 3 1/2 months old, touches everything by beaking it. Is he nipping, or just beaking & tasting & exploring? My Bailey will grip my finger, and sometimes squeeze a bit hard. I don't think he's biting or nipping, just testing. Could that be what yours is doing?
