Hi guys and gals,
My Eckie has been sneezing afar bit.
He still has a healthy appetite and no discharge from his nostrils.
I think I might make a appointment with the vet just to get a blood count to be sure. As they say Birds hide their illness till its to late to do anything., :green2:

A couple of weeks ago, Ekko sneezed several times during the day. I was worried, but then I realized I had added a new toy to his cage. Took it out, and the sneezing stopped..I don't know if it had dust inside, or what the deal was. Is there anything new around him or his cage?
Hoping he is okay!

My boy had that during 4 days sneezing like 10 times a day, I must said he was very stressed as all was new to him and also the weather was very cold during that period

I did nothing just observed closely to any behavior changes, as long he has no nasal discharges i wouldn't worry

Eckys do sneez for many reasons >>> dust, new envirement, strees ect ect

Is the weather more cold then usual? Mine those that when weather changes and i have to run the heater

Continued sneezing (This is not always a sign of illness. Parrots may sneeze for a variety of reasons: dust, pollen, airborne irritants, change in weather, dry air or they may have a small feather irritating their nares. Ensure you monitor your Eckie closely to rule out irritants.) source http://eclectusparrotbreeders.com/eclectus-health-info.html

If you want to have him checked out to give you a peace of mind, that would be the best thing to do so you wouldn't have to worry about him constantly. Hope everything turns out ok! :)

Yeah he is booked in 2morrow at the vet.
I wouldn't be so worried accept I have now caught a head cold and I never get sick.
Its just my eyes r watering a lot and I am all stuffed up in the nasal area.
