ANy experienced breeders here?I did not plan for it,, I just got them and was putting them in better shape the previous owner did not know how to care for them.

Well she loves boxes nest boxes when i let her out she will find one and go inside and play

Anyways i got her her own but now shes layed an egg, what is wierd is i thought she hated her mate? He likes her but shes mean to him. I was going to sell or seperate them? But then someone said electus dont form bonds?

ANyways was hoping for fertile, Id love to have another if not i have a line up of people who want to buy mine. Here in my country they are so hard to find.

They are on special electus seed that i got from reading here? Also on harrisons high potency pellets and a billion fruits and vegies

No added calicum or anythign as of yet:rainbow1:

I personally won't put them on high potency pellets due to added vitamins and such. Eclectus don't tolerate added vitamins and minerals as they will cause more harm then good. I stay away from pellets period for my eclectus.

They'll lay eggs regardless if there's a mate or not. Breeding is NOT an easy process, you should think it through before proceeding on breeding them or raising chicks. They're not easy to breed together either. They tend to be finicky breeders as some studies I've read before saying they breed better in a aviary type of situation where there's other pairs around.
