do bonded paird od eclectis need alot of attension
im asking because i have a friend who loves animals but works all the time.
the only thing stopping him from caring for a parrot is time constraints
would these birds sute his schedule

i heard that these birds are more independant than most but i thought i would ask the real experts

Eclectus do require a lot of time, like most larger parrots. They are very intelligent, and require the attention to keep them stimulated and happy.

A good bird for someone who is busy like he is, would be something among the lines of a parrotlet or lovebird. If he's fixed on larger birds; then I would suggest a senegal, pionus, or maybe a green-cheeked conure.
