I'm looking at getting a parrot in the next few months and after a MOUNTAIN of research I've decided to choose a Electus Parrot. There's just a few points I'm slightly confused about I'm looking for some advice with,
DIET
I'm aware of what not to feed them, Avocados are a no no. Not too many seed and nuts. What size portions of fruit and veg would you feed in the morning and what portion size for dinner ?
UV LIGHT
This is a subject I'm still working out. My cage will sit next to a window with the blind up. Is this a suitable amount of UV light per day or would I do this in conjunction a UV lamp ?
Any help would be really appreciated.
