Jasper hardly ate any of his dinner tonight, and didn't touch his bedtime snack. Every night when I bring him his snack he can't get to the dish fast enough.

All he wants to do is sleep :( He was sneezing a lot earlier but did his training/had some treats as usual.

I guess I'll have to wait and see how he is in the morning? Do your birds ever do this?

There are days that the eclectus don't pig out like normal, it isn't often but it's always concerning because of how much they normally eat. I always freak a little and then the next day they are eating everything in sight. Just see how it goes tomorrow.

Gosh Katie I hope everything is okay with Jasper. Sometimes every now and then I could swear that Raven is more 'lethargic', so I worry, then the next day(s) he's normal again. Even though he's normally kind of a perch potato lol.
Also, hopefully his sneezing was just 'nothing'. Keep us posted. Fingers crossed!

Well he ate a tiny bit of breakfast and a little bit of his seeds. Now it's dinner time and he had a couple bites. He seems a bit slower too.

I went out shopping today and skyped in a few times to see how he was. He seemed to mostly spend the day on his perch but he was singing/talking.

I really don't know if I should bring him to a vet or not...

Edit: Just did a training session with him and he did all of his rings perfectly. Accepted treats and is now eating a whole almond. Strange!

I would say that if he seems lethargic or his appetite remains lackluster for yet another day, you should take him in to the vet. Might still be nothing, but better to be sure.

Oh! And you might want to switch up and try a bunch of different foods with him. Just in case he'd simply gotten tired of a particular type. Whenever that happens with Bixby, he has been known to refuse his meal entirely!

I'm hoping all is well with Jasper.

Good news! Jasper has been a little piggy today :D What a relief. And he's currently bashing the crap out of one of his toys so I think whatever it was is over now :D

Kate,

Glad to hear he is feeling better. I just read your post, and skipped right to the end to read the good news, it must have been a stressful couple of days, glad to hear he is back to eating.

Cheers,

Camo
