First Shower for Baby

I have 10 weeks old red sided male. He's still on formula 3 times a day. Do not fly yet. He is scratching on the side of his head with his paw as well his feathers with weak. Can i give him shower at this age ? I always wipe him well after every feed.

Typically I don't give first baths until they are flapping around and starting to attempt flying. Does he have any dried formula on his face? This can make them very itchy, make sure you are keeping his face clean after eating. Formula dries like glue and sticks feathers together. It is one of my real pet peeve to see babies with clumps of dried formula all over their face. Once it dries you have to sort of break it apart with your fingers very gently so you don't harm the feathers or hurt the baby.

He's flapping a lot in these days. No dried formula on his face or feathers because i clean while feeding him not after feeding.
