Venus Bored During Conference Call

Velcro Venus has been with me most of the day. After trying to redo my keyboard for me, she got quiet and I saw this. She cracks me up. I love how she will nap while sitting on or near me.

Hahaha! That's the same look I get on my face whenever my boss starts talking! 😂

Closed eyes on a female ekkie. This is a sight I never get to see. Do you know that I have literally never seen Maya go off to sleep? She gets so excited when I'm around that she just wants to play with me non-stop. And it happens to be impossible to sneak up on her, so I can't catch her already sleeping, either. (And believe me, I've tried. Sneaking downstairs at 3 in the morning for a bottle of water? She'll announce my arrival with a single loud squawk, same as she does any time I enter or leave a room. It's like she was expecting me!)

So while I know she must sleep, I technically could not testify to it in a court of law. Lol!

She sits with me for most of the day and she will go to sleep. The slightest movement one eyelid opens, lol. As for Maya, she's got her eye on you, that is funny how she knows you are there. That's how Buddy is with me, even in the middle of the night. I call him my watch bird, lol.

Also, I have to use my headset for calls, if I put the call on speaker, Venus sits quietly or plays with a toy. Buddy tries to hijack the meeting saying HELLO to everyone. I tell you he could be a Walmart greeter, lol.
