Oh My Word I'm Deaf!

Venus is definitely going through a hormonal period. My quiet Venus is now suddenly as noisy as Buddy but louder, who knew little lungs could be so loud? So loud when I was talking to my mother on the phone, she's in Tennessee, she said Venus busted her ear drums. The dogs have vacated the room, Buddy is jumping each time she screams, and I'm now wearing my headphones, lol!

Add to the screaming, she's being a stinker, her eyes are really pinning too! I had her with me at my desk earlier because she will stay quiet but no she doesn't want to play with the toys I gave her, she wants to play beak and fingers, tries to remove the keys from my keyboard, tosses office supplies off my desk and the best, she regurgitated on my laptop, I guess it was hungry.

Last night, Husband put an empty popcorn bowl on the floor. She climbed out of her cage, waddled to the bowl, turned it on it's side and climbed inside. I went to pick her up and she lunged at me. Husband dies laughing and I explain to him she's trying to make it a nest. I ended up going behind the bowl and tipping a bit to force her out, beak wide open, eyes pinned. Once out I picked up the bowl and she still had her beak open so I took the bowl in the kitchen. Come back to the livingroom, put my hand down for her to step up. Nope, she waddled running back to her cage, climbs in, closes the door and goes back to her bed perch looking very unhappy. What a hormonal brat!!!! I told Husband he should have recorded it, especially her running to the cage, and closing the door. Yes she opens and closes her door, lol.

Pebbles has been acting a bit too interested in the gap above the fridge the last few weeks, so I am hoping it's not time for me to meet hormonal Pebbles.

Pebbles is certainly like Venus, generally fairly quiet, but she has a noise that sounds something like a toy laser gun or an alarm going off, oh boy I hope she doesn't start doing that a lot, even Gizmo gives her a crooked stare when she makes that noise.

Last night Venus wanted to sit with me and she hadn't eaten her veggies for the day, she picked the rice out of her chop so I chopped up red pepper and cucumber. Red pepper because Venus is vitamin A deficient. I give Buddy his, sit with Venus and her bowl. Buddy eagerly digs in and is purring with his munchies. Venus picks up each piece, tongues it, and tosses it. The dogs come running and start picking up the tossed pieces so Venus continues tossing, it's now a game.

I sat my phone by Venus' cage this morning and recorded her. This is Venus' screaming, we call it beeping and its soooo loud! She use to beep maybe twice a day, but right now it's every few minutes.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh, but is it just me, or does she sound like she's setting things off in a Hip-hop club? It's that double hoot! I was half waiting for the bass beat to come in! Hahaha!

I'd take that over Parkers screams any day. He sounds like a goose/bull horn mix, and it rattles you down to your core. My body actually vibrates when he calls out. That's almost adorable in comparison!

Lol!!!!!!!! I've wondered if that is a typical female Ellie sound. Sometimes she sounds like a jungle, could be vocals for a scary movie and she loves the amber alert alarm when those are pushed on the cell phones.

I sent the clip to Husband and he turned it into a ring tone lol. And I'm wearing my headphones lol.
