Gizmo - Male Eclectus Parrot
Pebbles - Female Eclectus Parrot
Hi all,
Gizmo was having his afternoon chat, and I noticed he is adding "Good Girl" to his list of phrases, it's a bit croaky at the moment, but he is really having a go.
He was saying some of his words really well, and some he was being a bit lazy with, so I have added some captions to the video (a bit of a dad translation
). There is one phrase he said, that I am not sure, so I put ??? marks. Bonus points to anyone that can decipher that bit (he doesn't know any swear words, so I feel comfortable putting it on youtube).
It's always hard to know if his words are really clear some times (I think he has "tickle tickle" and "Yummy Yummy Yummy" really clear in this video), or if I just understand him clearly because I spend a lot of time with him (kind of like understanding an accent), so feel free to let me know if it just all sounds like gibberish with captions.
Pebbles doesn't say any words yet, but we still talk to her, so hopefully one day, but most of the other noises except the whistles are Pebbles
Also you may notice Pebbles is doing a bit of a dance in her cage, she has been a bit more interested in her surroundings outside the cage, wanting to look at the gap above the fridge, etc, so I'm hoping I'm not about to meet hormonal Pebbles, she is a sweety, but she can be stubborn, so it might not be too fun if she decides she wants to make a nest somewhere and I have to get her out.
