Peppa and Angus
Introducing our new gorgeous little boy, his name is Angus, he is 14 weeks old. We adore him and Peppa loves him a little too much. She won't leave him alone and just wants him to feed her. He doesn't want anything to do with her a he just screams at her to leave him alone Lol!! Hopeful that will change as he has only be with us for 4 days. He seems to have settled in quite well apart from that. I'm a proud mummy.

I know, I was thinking the same, he is quite young as his eyes are still dark and still squawks like a baby.

BEAUTIFUL Ekki(s)!! Many congrats on Angus! :D

Are you 100% certain he is 14 weeks old? The reason I'm asking is because his beak has already reached adult color. All (very young) Ekkis I've ever encountered still either had dark beaks or dark markings on their beaks at 14 weeks. :)

Not 100% sure, the breeder where I got him from said he was 14 weeks. He is still young as his eyes are still dark. His grip also is not as strong yet either. So I took his word for it.

Did he come with a hatch certificate (since you got him from a breeder)? The eyes are always last to reach adult coloring. :)

Angus is beautiful! Congratulations on the new addition to your family!

I'm not sure if he's 14 weeks (though if I correctly recall, Liana's Pazu developed his adult beak coloring at the same accelerated rate... and she was showing us pics of him since days after his birth!), but he's definitely very young.

You should try asking the pet shop owner if he has Angus' certificate. He might be able to get it for you since he probably has a working relationship with that breeder. Might not work out, but I'd think it's worth a shot.

Thank you, I will ask him. He still has some patches of black on the side of his beak. I don't mind if he is slightly older, i still love him to bits. Peppa loves him but he is still a bit unsure of her. She keeps wanting him to feed her but he doesn't know what she is doing and that's a bit of an issue. Hopefully soon he realises she is not attacking him. Apart from that he has settled in quite well :)
