Semi-Cookec Lentils??

Is it okay to feed my new Eclectus semi cooked lentils? They're soft enough he can easily eat them, but not mush (if you cook them a long time). I just boiled a couple minutes...

Any other starch/carb/bean suggestions would be great!

Unless they're being sprouted, any beans should definitely be fully cooked.

For a wide variety of legumes and grains in general, I definitely suggest Volkman's Fancy Soak and Simmer. Good stuff.
