I was worried that my Eclectus, Lucky was coming down with something and as I am leaving for a wedding in Georgia for the weekend, I made an appointment for this morning to take him to the Vet.
Long story short, the vet was so impressed with his behavior (He absolutely refuses to bite and will let anyone hold him) that he would like Lucky to be on his public access TV Show! I will try to get a copy of the video and post a link somewhere.
Buying a bird was a really big step for me, and it took months before I finally decided to take the plunge, and boy did I luck out. Lucky doesn't bite, Doesn't throw food, Doesn't scream (Unless I'm playing XBox and he isn't on my shoulder) and tolerates everyone, even our beagle. He won't even poop when he's outside of his cage!
I can't believe his owner sold him. What a doll he is!
