Hello fellow Eclectus owners!

I just brought home my little green baby today and have no clue what to name him!

I an not new to parrots. I have a 4yr old TAG named Echo and a wt face tiel named Kodak

2 questions
Can you guys give me some names to think about!
What color aviator harness should I get for him. Echo already has blue so that color is not an option.

Congratulations on your new fid! I can't think of a name to suggest, but I do like Mango. For some reason it seems to suit a male ekkie .

I bought Eddie a green aviator harness. I have only had it on him once so far, but he looked spiffy in it lol. It blends in very nicely with his colouring

Simple names are best for sure.

Mine is Calypso for her colouring but from day 1 it has been Cal/Cally/Lips lol.

Cal most frequently

She responds to all 3.

I was in a pet shop yesterday where the owners have a TAG and his name is Hugo but he responds to "Oi" or "rat" better lol

This is because when he was little he got into everything: Oi rat bag, stop it, you'll hurt yourself!

lol.....

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Love them. Right now my 15 yr old dtr wants to name him Tobi. I also like jade but my husband is determined that sounds like a girls name.

Time will tell my Echo was not an original name but I have been calling him trouble a lot lately because he is always on the floor getting into stuff.

I have decided on the Red harness and am going to order it tonight.

I like Max too. I buy a harness that matches my parrot's feathering so it blends in better. I did buy a red harness for my daughter's grey and white mutated cockateil though

I got the Red one and it looks awesome on him! Echo my TAG's is blue and looks awesome too. (pic of him in my gallery) I have also started calling him Tobi the tank cause he eats constantly..
