Thanksgiving Hostess

Yesterday Venus visited with all of our guests. She actually made rounds going from person to person on her own. At one point I saw Husband looking nervous and saw Venus perched on the back of his neck, he's very nervous of that beautiful beak, lol. I was so proud of her, she was so well behaved and gave everyone a little love.

Here she started with my niece and worked her way to the end of the couch.

Here Husband was rescued by my cousin, lol!

Wonderful to see Venus joining in with your family on Thanksgiving although she does look a little worried about your Hubby's plucking issue. As long as it's not 'if you can, I can!' Hope you all had a lovely day?

I am impressed to the point of jealousy!

Sadly, the Rb can't be out if there are any foods or drinks... he swoops down on people's heads or laps, and sees no reason he shouldn't have anything he wants. He flies off with his spoils before I can get close. The biggest thing I've ever seen him fly away with was a half-eaten biscuit with raspberry jelly on it. He apparently bit too hard, though, and it separated and fell to the ground (jelly side down? Of course!) and he was left to perch on a curtain rod and savor his tidbit.

Venus is amazing. Beyond words.
