Today I met two female ekkies at the same time along with a B&G, CAG, a U2, and a Harlequin macaw and what I nice experience. We went to the flea market today to see a specific vendor who sells phone and tablet cases. My sister in law has three boys that live with her because their father is on the road more that a week at a time. She's their nanny, however they don't have much and haven't had much. They have never celebrated holidays because of lack of money. So I make sure they get Christmas and this year I scored some Samsung tablets, ordered cases for them but they weren't right so we went to the flea so we could fit cases and I got them settled.

While we were there we saw a parrot seller who we've talked to before and I like to visit with the birds. Today the two female ekkies and CAG wanted to eat my fingers, very feisty fids. Looking at the female ekkies was like looking at Venus and they wanted to listen but were protecting their area. The B&G was trying to regurgitate for me [emoji849], everyone was surprised, and the U2 was just a clown, lol.

Coming home, I scooped up Venus, she helped me wrap presents (she shredded paper), we made evening chop of boiled chicken, diced red and green pepper, and brown rice. Venus was very sweet, meeting the two female ekkies made me appreciate her more. So I put her on Buddy's playtop with her chop so I could see her from the kitchen while I made dinner. She stayed put, ate her chop, played with toys, she was doing so well. But then she jumped on Buzz's cage and began trying to attack him through the bars. He just looked at her like "what?" I went to make her step up and the red devil was back and as stubborn and feisty as ever. Little girl step up on this perch now, she gave in, I put her in her cage for a time out. She came out later and helped with more wrapping but she had to stay with me. I still appreciate her but she is a female Ekkie and still goes into stinker mode, lol.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Aww, that is very kind-hearted to help your SIL kids enjoy Christmas!!

Yes, our fids can be a bundle of contradictions. Sweet one moment, troublesome the next! But it is the entire package and range of emotions we love so dearly!

What you do for those children is in the true spirit of Christmas, Trace! Beautiful.

Hahaha! Venus definitely has her moments, but it sounds as though she has come such a long way in the last few months. Nice how she's into a bit of everything with you as you do your thing around the house. Prepping chops? Wrapping presents? She's wing deep in it! Lol!

She is into more. She does laundry with me, I take a shower and she has to be on the shower curtain, making Christmas wreaths, going outside to turn the Christmas lights on, making coffee. For showers I've had to move things around because someone thinks everything is hers.
