Well done getting him to have a bath. Eddie has refused to use any method that I have offered. He just dives (and I mean dives lol) into his tiny water bowl, which is half his size.
She's progressed from that to spray bottle to a big ol' swimming pool sized bowl (for her, obviously, I didn't take her to the swimming baths or anything outrageous!)
My faucet will switch to a shower and its a sprayer type so it works awesome. His feathers turned a brownish color when they were wet. It was beautiful!
lol! Cal's first actual bath, she literally fell in and blamed ME!
I got such a look of distain when she hopped out and couldn't fly further than a foot. So much so that she sat on the floor for 5 mins beside me and the "bath" and refused to look at me! Then she hopped on me, shook in my face and I nibbled my chin with what I thought, was unnecessary force!!
I knew a really hot day was the best time to try a full on bath haha!
Mishka's first bath happened when I saw her trying to dip her little chest in her water dish. I immediately went for a square glass bowl, filled it with 1" water and set it in her cage. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy it but only bathes when she feels like it (tried again yesterday, no dice ).
This morning I said to Rosie "want shower" and she ran away from me as fast as her little feet could. She really does not like water but she gets a shower anyway.
