Yeah, the medium does look too small (especially the head loop), but it's the right one. You know, unless your ekkie is uncommonly large. My current two are SI's and the harness fits fine on them. My first ekkie, Bixby, was a red-sided, and as such was a bit larger and longer than Jolly and Maya. But a medium was the right fit for him as well.

I followed the recommendation by bird originally, and it was way too small for Willow. (Mostly the neck/head hole. Especially with her crown.)
I went the next size up (which would have been the recommendation by weight) and that works fine for her.
