Finally got Lincoln to take a full shower. Without treats too! I just set him on the shower door while I washed my hair and such and I'd just talk to him and by the time I was ready to bring him in he looked like he was just gonna jump off the door and shower himself.

Once it was done he didn't really wanna let go of me so I kept getting berated by his wings as he tried to dry them.

His feathers look so pretty now. He was long overdue for a good shower I'll have to take him in with me whenever I shower now

Well done! I think regular showers are almost as important for feather condition as good diet. It looks like he got wet all the way through which is a good thing.

My male absolutely loves a shower, and my female likes it, and some times just accepts it, so hopefully your boy will enjoy showers, which makes life a lot easier.

Yeah, I'm hoping so. He's a very pretty boy and I'm 100% sure he'd be absolutely stunning if his feathers were okay. I don't think Lincoln was ever given a proper shower before I got him which is unfortunate but he doesn't seem too bothered by showers and maybe even grow to like them.

Wrangler is learning to tolerate/like showers. He's still a bit nervous about the whole water thing but he doesnt protest getting wet any more nor does he move away from the spray. Time and patience! Congrats on winning your boy over too :D

Molly just sits in my hand shower with her eyes half closed like she is drunk on water and does not move until I turn the water off. She seems to drink a fair amount of water when she is in the shower also. I think she likes the shower too much. Oddly she seems a bit annoyed after when she is out of the shower and wet. Like...She wishes she didn't have to dry off or something. Congratulations on showering your little one! I love showering with my Birdy...It's a lovely life when you can even have a shower buddy!

Nice! As Cameron mentioned, showers are very important for feather health. So it's always a good thing when they actually enjoy the process!
