Hey, everyone! I decided to do a just because thread, as it's been a little while since I've had the chance to do a thread in general about my Eclectic Duo. (Life's been a bit hectic, lately.)

Yesterday, before going outside to shovel all the packed, sleet hardened snow from my property, I gave Jolly and Maya their showers. (Jolly was giving me the stink eye, as they were due a shower on Sunday and he was not impressed with my excuses. Hahaha! Maya's tolerance for a missed shower is a little higher, so I wasn't quite in the doghouse with her just yet.

Here are my soggy ekkies...

And Maya's after-preening shot.

I am never really prepared for those colors.
I think I am, but a great picture, like those... I'm just not.
DANG!
And the two genders together.
Mother Nature must have been high on life when she painted those birds!!!!!!

Thank you! Definitely could do with some more 'just because' photos, always a pleasure to see Lady Maya and Sir Jolly Stephen. Beautiful birds, lovely colours. More, more, more, ha ha.

Go steady with that snow folks, not wanting to hear that anyone's had a mishap!

Thanks, everyone! Even now, I'm still not used to their brilliant colors! Abigail, you're absolutely right. Mother Nature must indeed have been quite high on life. Hahaha! I'm lucky to have them.

I'll try and take some more pics soon!

JoYa! Hahahahahahahaha!!! High comedy, Chris!

Yeah, Scott. More than proud, actually. I feel fortunate. Even blessed. There is so much more to our parrots than most people understand. They just amaze me everyday with their intelligence and quirky personalities.
