well the first 4 months home he was a very quiet fella but the last month has brought me a noise machine. he has started having screaming battles with the U2 and just talking and chatting it up all the time. i saw a video on utube of one saying tickle, tickle. so Maxx is now the tickle, tickle bird. i employed this to get him more used to me handling him around his wing area so i will be able to work the harness around them now that the nice weather is coming on i want to be able to take him everywhere with me. i started the tickling on the feet and have worked my way up to where he will now lift his wings so i can tickle him under there. so i dont believe the harness is far off, but i do not treat train the treat is being able to ride along. these guys are pretty smart he is starting to put different saying together like :prett boy Maxx, and tickle, tickle, tickle
most of the day i hear tickle maxx tickle, tickle or, what ya doing.
having a blast with these guys and they bring me much enjoyment.

LOL Dave..I've been reading more on the Ekki part of this forum..I crack up about the antics of Tiki and Venus and Lincoln,Jasper,Chicken etc..and I see what cute faces they have :D

Amy isn't harnessed, but I get her clipped twice a year ( I let her sleeves grow on her arms in winter coz she doesn't go out then) but in summer she goes where I go in the car,and she absolutely loves it! "outside?..in the car??" she asks me.
Al (Wrench13) made her a super nice pvc perch/pipe that I bungee to the passenger front seat and she sits, looks out the window, all fluffed up,and yells all sorts of Amazon stuff and talks. We go to the pet store,walmart...the donut shop...even to MY doctors ( they love her there lol)
It makes me smile to see Amy having so much fun..now..if I can only figure out a way to safely have her on my bike,we'll be all set! ;)

That is one of Chicken's favorite sayings, "tickle, tickle". I say it when I flip her on her back and play with her belly. It's a smart idea to use it to get under his wings, I've just never had to worry about it with Chicken, I can ask her to "show me" and she'll let me lift her wings and stretch them out.
