I think parkers a little scared

Poor guy. We are dog sitters on rover.com. We just accepted two Westies for the next five days. I think these guys more so than others are making Parker nervous. He is talking in front of me constantly and one phrase is more pronounced than others

Even when I just now put him to bed he said it over and over while sitting on my hand, which is very unusual. And he wouldn't get off my hand into his cage, he was looking for comfort.

And what was said phrase? Well, have a listen and tell me he's not speaking in context. Now imagine hearing this while trying to put him to bed. *heartbreak*

Before anybody gets too worried, Parker stays in his cage at all times when we have borders. We have multiple cages for him in different areas of the house so he's always with us even if he has to be locked up for safety reasons. That's why he's in this cage right now in the video

Not sure what he is saying, but he sounds spooked, really spooked. Any possibilities that the dogs got up close and personal?

Do what you can to create as much separation as possible! Creating as much comfort as possible for Parker!

Steven, he's saying "come here". He picked it up from my secondary step up command (I use it when I want him to have a choice of coming or not).

Dogs basically left him alone. He was always higher than them (westies, not very tall) and never in any danger. Must be just one of those parrot idiosyncrasies. They are very picky about who they like and don't like and there's no changing of minds

Poor guy...reminds me of Alex saying "wanna go back" when he had to be left at the vet's for treatment and surgery.

Thanks Chris! My hearing is limited (blank zones) from the effects of being in the concussion wave of an artillery line. Long story short, the line officer released the line prior to all personnel being clear. My Dear Heart will state that I use it to cover for my Male Patterned Hearing Loss! Again, Thanks!

Hmmm, our Julio will state: No, No, No! when we drive into the entrance of our CAV's Clinic. While he is in with the Vet, he is Mister Sweetheart! But afterwards, he will 'curse' at the staff person as we pay the bill. It's the only time I have ever heard him curse!
