Hormones For Everyone!

Tiki and Chicken are both feeling hormonal this week. At least Chicken has seemed to have moved on from being grouchy to being so lovey it verges on being creepy. She is super clingy with me, she wants to be held all the time. She is even willing to let just about anyone pick her up and hold her. We were at my mother-in-law's house for dinner over the weekend and the kids were picking her up and moving her around and she didn't mind in the least. She even let my brother-in-law pick her up and hold her, and she has always disliked him.

Tiki, on the other hand, is a beast. Anything comes near him and he growls and lunges. If I try to sit and talk to him, he paces his cage, his back feathers raised up like a mad dog.

At least I know Tiki will only last a week at most and be back to his usual loving self. Who knows how long Chicken will be going through puberty, and how long this lovey phase will last before she is a little red devil again. I sort of like this little red teddy bear though, I'll admit. It has been sort of difficult with them both being hormonal this week though, because she keeps trying to get to Tiki, and I can't let her get near him because he is being so aggressive.

Gotta love the ekkie hormones!

The joys of being the Human bite toy in the middle! This to shall pass, sooner would be nice.

Hormones for everyone, eh? Oh, joy! Lol! But at least Chicken is in the lovey stage. Beats the bite your face off stage any day!
